TEXT MESSAGES · THE TERMS

Texts from the shop. The terms of them.

01 · THE PROGRAM

Texts from Cyclone Machining Co.

Cyclone Machining Co. sends text messages from its own line about the work it does with you. The program is run by Cyclone Machining Co., the trade name of Ron Wood Enterprises LLC, doing business as Cyclone Machining Company, at 4674 Clay Ave SW, Suite D, Grand Rapids, MI 49548.

Two kinds of text exist. Job texts: questions about your drawing, that your quote is ready, that your parts shipped, a delivery day, and answers to what you ask, sent to people who gave the shop a mobile number for a request, a quote or an order and agreed to texts. Replies: if you text the shop first, the shop texts back. The shop's own staff receive its alerts on the same line. No marketing or promotional texts are sent.

02 · HOW A NUMBER JOINS

You say so. The shop writes it down.

In person or on the phone: a person at the shop asks, in these words: "Can we text you about your job at this number? Questions on the drawing, when your quote is ready, when your parts ship. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Is that all right?" Your yes, and the date, are noted in the shop's records before any text is sent. The first text names Cyclone Machining Co. and says how to stop.

By email: you write from your own address that texts are fine, or you ask to be texted. The email is the record.

On the quote form at cyclonemachining.com/rfq: a box, unticked until you tick it, below the mobile number field, with this sentence beside it: "I agree to receive text messages from Cyclone Machining Co. about this request and my work with the shop. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms: cyclonemachining.com/sms-terms. Privacy: cyclonemachining.com/privacy." Leaving the box empty changes nothing about your request.

By texting first: a text to the shop's line is a conversation, and the shop answers it. That is all it is.

You can use the shop without agreeing to texts. Nothing on this site or in any other agreement signs a number up by itself.

03 · HOW OFTEN, AND WHAT IT COSTS

A few while a job is live. Rarely otherwise.

Message frequency varies. While a job is live you may receive a few texts a week; otherwise texts are rare. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

04 · STOP AND HELP

One word ends it.

Reply STOP to any text and the texts stop. You receive one message confirming it, and no more. Reply START to begin again. Reply HELP for help at any time, call the shop at (616) 990-1333, or write to RFQ@CycloneMachining.com. You may also tell any person at the shop, in any words, and the shop will act on it.

05 · PRIVACY

Your number goes nowhere.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The shop keeps your number, the record of how and when you agreed to texts, the texts sent and whether they were delivered, with the record of your job. Twilio carries the texts in order to deliver them and for nothing else.

What this site keeps in general is on the privacy page.

06 · WHO IS WRITING

A person, or the shop's own system for that person.

Some texts are composed and sent by the shop's own system on behalf of a person at the shop, so that a purchase order or a question reaches you at once. A person reads every reply. If you want a person on the line, say so, or call (616) 990-1333.

These terms may change; the version and its date are here. Version 2, October 3, 2026.
