WALK IT THROUGH

Tell me about the part.

Same questions job control would ask on the phone, in the same order. Answer what you know — the rest we read off the model.

What are we making?

Where the part is in its life tells me how to plan the cut.

BEFORE YOU SEND ANYTHING

What an integrator actually asks.

01

WILL IT FIT FIRST TIME?

Mating geometry is machined to the drawing, not to a tolerance we hope you can live with. It bolts in or it goes back on the machine.

02

ONE PART OR A HANDFUL?

One is a real job here. A single plate or a short set — the one-off is the work, not the exception.

03

MY LINE IS DOWN — WHERE DOES THAT PUT ME?

Say so when you send it. Expedite is a real lane here and it costs more, which is the honest trade — job control tells you what is possible before you commit, rather than after. A person picks up from 9 AM to 10 PM every day of the week, so a line that stops on a Sunday still reaches someone who can talk about the part.

04

IT ALMOST FIT. NOW WHAT?

Part two is not a restart. The fixturing and the setup from part one stay on the job, so a corrected mating face costs the change and not the whole bracket again. Send the part back with the print marked up.

Send the part that has to line up.

The drawing, the model, or the mating part it has to fit. Say whether the line is down: expedite is a real lane here, and you hear what is possible before you commit.
