THE SHOP · GRAND RAPIDS

Built to hold. Disciplined by design.

A REAL SHOP · A SHORT CHAIN OF COMMAND · GRAND RAPIDS MI

01 · THE SHOP

Nothing is handed to a stranger halfway.

Grand Rapids, Michigan. The print is read, programmed, cut, finished and measured inside one shop — the engineer who quotes your part and the spindle that cuts it are never more than a conversation apart. Prototype and R&D discipline bred at RED Digital Cinema, applied to hardware that has to hold. The work that doesn’t exist yet is the work this shop is built for.

02 · THE LINEAGE

Where the standard came from.

A design house, a camera company that could not ship a soft part, and factory-level racing. Every one of them pays for the same thing: geometry that holds when it matters. That is the standard that walked into this shop.

Job Control & Communications

Nothing goes on the schedule that the floor has not already agreed to. Feasibility reads, process updates, delivery coordination.

05 · YOUR DRAWING

Your print stays in this building.

The people who read it are the people who program it, cut it and measure the part. It is used for two things, the quote and the part, and for nothing after that: it is not shown to another customer or used as an example, and it is not sent anywhere outside the shop.

Development hardware is other people’s unreleased work, which is why this site names no customers and shows no current jobs. Signing an NDA before the file comes over is routine here; send it with the drawing.

Other companies carry the Cyclone name. This shop is a different company from Mubea Cyclone Manufacturing, the aerospace manufacturer in Mississauga, Ontario, and from Cyclone Manufacturing, the blast-cabinet maker in Dowagiac, Michigan.

Ask something a website can't answer.

Feasibility, a material substitution, whether a feature is worth the setup — job control takes that on the phone or in writing, before anything gets quoted.
